NEWS RELEASE: Church Mutual Selects Cincom Document Automation Software
Property insurer chooses Cincom Eloquence to streamline claims correspondence and policy generation processes
CINCINNATI - Software provider Cincom Systems announces that Church Mutual Insurance Company (www.churchmutual.com), a leading provider of property and casualty insurance, has chosen Cincom Eloquence(R) (www.cincom.com/cds) to streamline its claims correspondence and policy generation processes.
A key consideration for the selection of Cincom Eloquence is its flexibility in generating personalized claims correspondence in real time. Cincom Eloquence provides “point-and-click” access to a central repository housing pre-approved templates, enabling claims representatives at Church Mutual to deliver claims correspondence that is more timely, accurate and compliant.
“Our claims representatives have been supplementing our existing document generation system with manual processes that have increased costs and slowed our response times — neither of which is desirable,” says Tim Householder, vice president of Claims, Church Mutual. “Cincom Eloquence’s intuitive interface and guided workflow takes the burden off our claims representatives so they can focus on delivering superior service to our policyholders at the point of need.”
Another contributor to Church Mutual’s selection of Cincom Eloquence is its ease of use in the creation of policies in high volume. Church Mutual expects significant improvements in the speed of document development due to Eloquence’s intuitive design environment, which provides a more active role for business users in the design and creation of documents — reducing the dependency on the company’s IT resources.
“Currently our IT resources are heavily involved in the development of documents, which often leads to delays given other priorities,” said Barb Breese, Electronic Document Services, Church Mutual. “By moving document development out of IT and into the hands of business users with Cincom Eloquence, we anticipate cutting the time it takes to create, edit and test document templates in half.”
Cincom collaborated with Human Factors International (the world’s leading strategic advisor and provider of user experience design services) to ensure that Eloquence delivers the most intuitive document automation experience in the industry. Cincom Eloquence enables organizations to strengthen customer relationships, minimize compliance risks and reduce operating costs by simplifying the management of business-critical document-composition processes through a software suite that is easy to use and seamlessly integrates into legacy environments.

For over 112 years, Church Mutual has specialized in providing insurance for religious organizations. Today, the company insures over 100,000 houses of worship, denominational offices, schools, camps and senior living facilities throughout the United States. What’s Your Company’s Eleftheria to Customers?
Do You Know How to Think Outside Your Bubble?

People have a passion to be heard, and in a world that at times shows it doesn’t have time to listen much less have real, in person relationships, social networking has proven to be the proxy for people too busy to connect in real-time.
Paradoxically, giving face time to customers is now the ultimate compliment.

NEWS RELEASE: Thales Australia Upgrades to Latest Cincom ERP Enterprise System
Australia — Worldwide software provider, Cincom Systems (www.cincom.com.au), latest enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, CONTROL(TM), has improved productivity and user performance while dramatically reducing report production at Thales Australia. At the highest point, there were previously more than 300 reports, but through an audit and review process, as well as the use of CONTROL’s List Based Pages, this number has reduced significantly with a current target of approximately 80-100 production reports.
For the past 15 years, Cincom has provided its CONTROL ERP to Thales as the backbone to various services Thales provides to a wide range of aerospace, defence and security customers, including the Australian Defence Force.
The upgrade project ran for approximately seven months, with the combined project teams from Thales and Cincom operating on a co-location basis at Thales’s Rydalmere facility in NSW. The project was delivered within budget and on time. This release of Cincom’s CONTROL ERP means that Thales now has access to the latest innovations in product capability and technology for its business systems. The project’s success is also due to the project management process adopted by Thales and Cincom. All users were informed along the way on project progress, with the project team keeping its finger on the pulse at all times through user feedback during the entire process.
With the rollout and adoption of this latest technology from Cincom, one of the major benefits for Thales has been to further improve its business processes, user responsiveness and processing times, and to reduce reports from approximately 300 to 80.
In addition to this huge reduction in reports, the other benefits of the CONTROL technology upgrade include:
- Lower ongoing costs
- An easy-to-deploy user environment
- System failure risk reduction
- Improved application performance
“Working with Cincom and using the latest system has delivered results and engendered a good team spirit within our organization,” said Robert Plant, Thales Group Manager Business Systems. “Even with hindsight, we would not have done things any differently,” he added.
Cincom Regional Director Greg Mills stated, “The success of this project is a testament to the close long-term relationship that Cincom and Thales have built over the past 15 years. Cincom is proud to be able to provide its CONTROL ERP to Thales as the backbone to the various services it provides to the Australian Defence Force and commercial customers.”
Cincom’s CONTROL is an event-enabled environment through Cincom’s ENVIRON(R), which drives business processes across multiple systems of record, supporting a company’s enterprise performance management strategy.
